A karaoke-style digital poem composed of video, text, and music, the piece narrates the story of Yoko, who appears in the video as a ghost created by European imagination. She wears a black wig and a bath towel that covers her naked body from the chest down; she winks while picking up sushi with a pair of chopsticks. Yoko’s Day parodies both the promotional branding of a Berlin-based sushi chain and David Bowie’s China Girl music video.
