Cancel culture in South Korea is cruel, and it has put artists in a place they should never have been in. The herd mentality, I believe, is promoted by K-dramas and entertainment shows that strictly divide good and bad, subsequently producing pseudo-personalities and a society deprived of sympathy or empathy. South Korean critic Michael Lim had also criticized the blind worship of “the good” in South Korean media culture, and the “good” foreshadowing the dystopic society.

I made this video for artists (from South Korea or elsewhere) who have been, or are going through a dark phase in their lives. I hope they are not disheartened for too long.
